WHERE DO THEY WORK? Ecologists mainly work outdoors as their main job is the examine and search the environment. They walk around the area and look at the plants and animals, including their surroundings. As they search, they right down data such as what they recommend would be best for the environment and whether or not it is safe to start a mission. Once all the environment has been examined and searched from top to toe, they then go to a laboratory and perform animal and plant search to learn more about the organism. Once all data is finished and collected, they then go to their office and right up all information achieved. They write it up so they can then send it to the government. As you can see, ecologists work both indoors and outdoors but their job is mainly taken part outdoors in the environment.
WHAT DO THEY DO?
Ecologists study living things and their environment. Their jobs are to make sure that the actions and experiments done by scientists do not affect the human race or environment. Ecologists do lots of outdoor work and can usually work at many different places such as aquariums and museums. In order to become an ecologist, you have to have many skills. Ecologists are extremely intelligent people, they have to be able to work well with computers, have well speaking and communicating skills, work well in groups, greatwriting skills and know about the environment well as you mainly work on its social impacts. WHY IS THEIR JOB IMPORTANT? An ecologist's job is extremely important. Without anyone doing an ecologist's job, scientists will continue to do their experiments without knowing the damage it could cause to land, plants, animals ,air and many more things. How does that relate to mining? If ecologistsdidn'tdidn't do their part in mining, it would be a huge risk. It could cause lots of damage to land and humans, that's why ecologists have to evaluate the environment and its relationship with living things, otherwiseexperiments will continue to happen while putting everyone and everything at risk.
HOW IS AN ECOLOGIST INVOLVED IN EXPLORATION IN MINING?
Ecologists are involved with exploration in mining because they have to make sure that every act taken part in exploration in mining is approved. That means that ecologists have to evaluate, search the mine and it's environment (including plants and animals). They have to search it because there could be a high risk or anything that could cause damage if it isn't searched and approved by an ecologist. Once the ecologists have finished inspecting the mine and its surroundings, scientists then have permission/their approval to start they're missions.
WHAT DO THEY DO DAILY?
They study and/or research the affects of an environment and its surroundings
Study the consequences or environmental impact of an experiment/mission
Take organisms back to the laboratory for further studying
Gather information and results of an environment Use the gathered information and then type it all up to with the recommended decision
Present the information and recommendation to the government and local environmental organizations
Report back to the scientists whether or not they have the legal approval to continue the mission
